We compete in quality Dacapo invests significant resources in selecting, approving and developing our key suppliers. Our quality department conducts annual audits of all key suppliers and our product reception and shipping department inspects the quality of all incoming products. Dacapo collaborates closely with some of Europe’s and Asia’s largest and most professional manufacturers in every product group and we have partnership agreements with a growing number of the most competent manufacturers of our main products groups. We compete on prices! In the stainless steel industry, uniform quality steel is sold by a relatively small number of specialized manufacturers. The product range and terms of shipping and payment are often nearly identical from one supplier to the next. Therefore, the price often determines who is chosen as the supplier. We have recognized this fact since the very first day we were in business - it is indeed a central element of our business concept. Therefore, we aim to always have the lowest costs in the industry. This guarantees our customers that we can compete on prices when everything else is identical. More than low prices! What good is a low price if there isn’t enough in stock? Or if the quality is not satisfactory? Or if the delivery is incomplete or not on time? Etc. Since the founding of Dacapo, we have expanded the quantity and selection of products in stock every month. Today we have one of Europe’s most extensive stock ranges of stainless steel tubes, pipes,  fittings, flanges and valves. A significant and wide stock of  stainless steel bars and sections and a standard selection of sheets and plates. Our stock is continuously adapted to meet the needs of our customers. We measure "missing potential deliveries", which means that our buyers receive regular feedback on the new products requested by our customers. Dacapo also enters into framework agreements, including for products outside of our standard product range. Our recent investment in a new state-of-the-art polishing centre is a response to a growing demand from our customers for polished stainless steel tubes, bars and sections with a consistent and high quality surface. By performing the polishing in-house we reduce our inventory costs, while at the same time being able to offer our customers the best polishing quality at the most competitive and flexible terms. We strive in every way to be better than the best in all areas. These efforts have borne fruit, as Dacapo today supplies some of the largest end users of stainless steel in the pump, food, chemical, agricultural, off-shore and pharmaceutical industries.
