Anchored in our strategy of offering the highest quality stainless steel products at the most competitive prices, Dacapo Stainless has invested in a brand new polishing centre, which was launched in the beginning of 2009.
Being a green-field investment, we were able to design the polishing centre so we can supply a superior polishing service for tubular product and bars, which meet the expectations of even our most demanding customers, while still being cost competitive.
Maximum automated handling of the products from start to end in the polishing process. Material is moved by crane ONLY, and the polishing machine is fully integrated with an in-line packaging system, which means zero manual handling. This result is minimum risk of marks, dents and scratches, which in turn significantly reduces the risk of claims and associated costs.
Our polishing center is a state-of-the-art integrated system supplied by the German company Loeser, who are market leaders in polishing technology. We have decided to invest in a high-end system to meet customers’ requirements of high quality products only. Among other things this means, that we wet-polish only, which results in a more uniform surface and an overall superior quality in terms of visual appearance, and consistency from item to item and from order to order. |
